As managing director of Quality Care, Darren has over 25 years of Insurance experience with 20 years in the Care industry. Darren’s expert knowledge of the Care sector has confirmed QCIS as one of the UK’s leading Care Home Insurance Brokers.

Darren is a very keen tennis player, an avid football fan and enjoys watching this three children playing tennis, football or cricket.

Responsible for the management of our head office and certifying that the team works in a compliant manner. Lorrie ensures that our team are delivering an exceptional customer service to our Clients.

An active supporter of Chestnut Tree House taking on the Great Wall of China Challenge in 2015, Cambodia Challenge in 2017 and the Inca Trail in 2019.

Chris Perrin - Schemes Manager

Responsible for the management of all new scheme and product opportunities  Chris has over 10 years’ experience in commercial insurance.Creating and developing all policy documentation and delivering product training to ensure we meet the high expectations of our client base and insurer panel.

Chris is a big fan of movies and cinema and attends Comic Con annually.

Having joined QCIS as a New Business Executive in 2011 Gary now caters for our Corporate Clients. Gary’s experience and knowledge ensures that all corporate queries, requests, claims and quotations are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner.

In 2014 Gary raised funds for the care workers charity in the Amsterdam marathon and in 2016 achieved a personal best in the London marathon of 2:36:41.

Dom brings over 30 years’ experience in both commercial and personal insurance and is responsible for implementing the business plan for QCIS. Dom heads up GI for QIS unlocking and converting commercial business to meet the strategic growth plans.

Dom can often be heard singing or humming a tune from his vast repertoire… happy in his work!

Sarah celebrated 10 years with QCIS in October 2017. Sarah is responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of the New Business team for QCIS, driving activities to ensure the KPI’s and business objectives of the team are met and the sales plan is delivered.

An excellent baker supplying team favourites chocolate cookies and Lemon Drizzle Cake.

As a New Business Executive, Alice provides quotes and converts them into New Business in line with her individual and the team targets. CII qualified Alice has worked in the insurance industry for over 5 years.

Alice took a year out to travel visiting many countries and experiencing different cultures.

James Pursell - New Business Executive

James’ role is to provide quotes to potential clients and convert these into new business. James uses his experience to assist the Business Development team with the appointments. James also brings over 8 years’ experience in personal lines insurance to the team.

James passion is football and is a supporter of his local team Worthing FC.

A keen traveller and sports fanatic who cycles along Brighton seafront to the office daily.

Jade has over 10 years expertise in commercial and personal lines which enables Jade to manage performance and drive activity in the EB team to meet targets and deliver great customer service. Jade also supports GI.

Jade is a fitness instructor, teaching and attending numerous classes each week

Emily is responsible for the daily management of the performance of the Commercial Account Handlers ensuring that the team is meeting and exceeding retention rates.

As well as being Mum to two girls Emily is completing an Open University Degree in Law.

The newest member of our Existing Business team, Claire has worked in the Financial Services and Insurance Sector for over 10 years. Claire is on a steep learning curve and is being supported with internal and external training programmes.

Alzheimers , Barnados, Shelter and Mind are just some of the charities that Claire has raised money for through running and a sky-dive.

With over 6 years knowledge and experience within the Domiciliary Care sector, Lauren leads our department and is tasked with the daily management of our domiciliary clients within both a new business and renewal setting. Lauren is also responsible for meeting and exceeding current renewal retentions.

Lauren has her hands full outside of work being Mum to her active three year old son.

Toni provides end to end administrative support to the Commercial Account Handlers ensuring our customers receive all documents and claims updates in a timely and efficient manner.

Toni completed the Brighton half and full marathon on behalf of Chestnut Tree House and in 2016 a 5k run in support of The British Legion.

An experienced sales and lead generator, Nathan is responsible for prospecting and generating sales leads for the New Business, Corporate and GI teams.

Played football for Manchester United, Bury and Bolton Wanderers youth academy.  Participated in a white collar boxing event in 2016 and raised £850 for cancer research.

Adam started his apprentice scheme in Sept 2017. Adam will support the Social media, website and communications for QCIS over the length of his apprenticeship leading to Adam providing a full Digital Marketing Plan for QCIS.

Adam has played for Brighton & Hove Cricket Club from the age of 8 and spent 2 seasons playing in Australia where he won the league with his team.

CAT qualified Sarah brings not just her qualifications but her experience in insurance accounting to the QCIS team. Sarah is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting, providing accurate and timely financial statements and all accounting activities working within the FCA guidelines.

Sarah regularly supplies the team with her home- made samosas-delicious!

Patricia has been working in the Care Home Insurance sector since 2002. She is responsible for all the accounting needs of QCIS and has been instrumental in the success and growth of the company.

Patricia is an avid tennis player and is a regular 1st team tennis player for Hove Park Tennis Club.
