Care Home Success Story

As a care home specialist, we understand the hard work and dedication that goes into a successful home, and we love hearing about success stories.

One such story is Valerie Manor, where the owner of the home, Zoe Bates, was celebrating 10 years of owning and managing the home.

Valerie Manor, located in West Sussex, is one of the top homes in the country, achieving Outstanding CQC ratings since 2015 and also winning at the Care Awards consecutively since 2014 including National Care Team of the Year & National Care Home of the Year.

Zoe is a registered nurse who started working in a nursing home at the age of 13! On the 28th January 2008, Zoe took over Valerie Manor which at the time was a small 15 bedded residential home.

In 2011, the home started work on a nursing wing, allowing them to cater for up to 23 residents with nursing needs as well.

The success and rise of the home is a credit to Zoe and her fantastic team at Valerie Manor. We wanted to personally congratulate Zoe on this achievement so arranged for chocolates and a bottle of champagne to be delivered to the home.
