Will the shop front glass be covered for breakage?
Yes if you need it. Most commercial tenants have to cover their glass rather than their landlord.
Do I need specific security to prevent break ins?
Most insurers need at least basic security such as a five level mortice deadlock and window locks on the ground floor. Some trades and areas need alarm systems.
Can I cover employees when the business grows?
Yes no problem. The employer’s liability section will take care of that. Depending on the policy it may cost more depending on the wage roll.
I rent my surgery but spent a lot converting it. How wiI I cover this?
The contents will be covered and any fixtures including decorations and permanent additions will be included under ‘tenants improvements.’
